The REAL DEAL on Breastfeeding™ Wins A 26th Annual Telly Award

Video Receives Award in Health & Wellness Category

New York, NY —February 9, 2005— Playgroup Productions LLC today announced that The REAL DEAL on Breastfeeding™, a 25-minute video providing instruction, insight and inspiration for today’s expectant and brand new moms, won a prestigious 26th Annual Telly Award. Founded in 1978, the Telly Awards recognize outstanding video and film productions as well as cable programs and commercials. The REAL DEAL on Breastfeeding™ is a Telly “Finalist” winning a Bronze Award in the Health and Wellness Category. The REAL DEAL was selected as a Finalist from more than 10,000 entries from all 50 states and 30 countries around the world.

The award-winning DVD was created by two New York City mothers/TV producers to give mom-to-mom advice and support to pregnant women and new moms who want the real deal on breastfeeding (it may be natural, but it's not always easy). The pro-breastfeeding DVD features a mix of real moms in various stages of breastfeeding, a smart and stylish, 35-year old lactation consultant and mother of four, and a doctor with more than 20 years of expertise in breastfeeding and medicine. Watching it gives expectant and new moms a lactation consultation, a breastfeeding support group and a one-on-one latch-on lesson all in one 25-minute DVD.
